2) Set specific goals and deadlines: 

Set clear, specific goals for what you want to achieve, and assign deadlines for each task. Having a deadline can create a sense of urgency and motivate you to take action rather than putting things off indefinitely.

Rather than saying "I want to finish this project soon," set a specific deadline for yourself, like "I will complete this project by Friday at 5 pm." This gives you a clear target to work towards and helps to keep you accountable.

3) Use time management techniques: 

Planning out your day and allocating specific times for tasks can help you stay on track and avoid procrastination. Use a planner or calendar to schedule your tasks and stick to it as much as possible. Be sure to include breaks and reward yourself for completing tasks on time.

4) Eliminate distractions:

Identify what distracts you the most and take steps to minimise or eliminate them. This might mean turning off notifications on your phone, finding a quiet workspace, or using website blockers to prevent you from accessing distracting websites while working.

5) Prioritise tasks: 

Prioritise your tasks based on their importance and urgency. Prioritise completing high-priority tasks before moving on to less important ones. This helps ensure that you're making progress on the most important things and reduces the likelihood of procrastinating on important tasks.

6) Use positive reinforcement: 

Reward yourself for completing tasks and making progress towards your goals. This could be as simple as taking a short break, treating yourself to a small indulgence, or engaging in a favourite hobby. Positive reinforcement can help reinforce productive behaviour and motivate you to keep moving forward.

7) Change your mindset: 

Shift your mindset from viewing tasks as burdensome chores to seeing them as opportunities for growth and achievement. Focus on the benefits of completing tasks and how they align with your long-term goals. Adopting a more positive attitude towards work can help reduce procrastination and increase motivation.
