  • Hello Dr. Pandya! We are super excited to do this special section with you. Welcome to Girls Buzz. Please tell us something about yourself.

Thank you so much. I am Homeopathic practitioner as well as Nutritionist from Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

  • We read on your profile, you are a homoeopathy doctor. We are sure many people would have asked you this, but we are really curious to know how it is different from allopathy or any other medicine field?

Yes!! Homeopathy is a science which has holistic approach and individualistic approach where in we treat not just symptoms or disease but pt as a whole. Every disease is treated from roots and not just suppressed.

  • How has been your journey of being an influencer and sharing such amazing informative content?

Well!! Really good question. It's a roller coaster ride actually. When I started off, I didn't knew much about Instagram or how I want to proceed. But I believed I wanted to serve on my page real information or experienced based info only. And I believe mental and physical health both are important and interrelated and our most of the diseases, we can prevent if we maintain both of these.

  • Being a weight loss specialist and a nutritionist, one thing you always advise to any person who approaches you.

I always say consistency is key to everything and not giving up attitude till you want it. So losing weight, eating healthy is not just one day Or one month thing.. It's a life process. It's a lifestyle change.

  • One myth you feel has long been associated with weight loss, which you would like to let our audience know.

To lose weight you need gym and time.

Actually what you need is right coach that's it. At home too you can lose weight with minimum time also u can lose weight with right nutrition. In fact home workouts are best workout.

  • PCOS has become really common nowadays. Do you believe that it can be cured or its symptoms can be reduced with dietary changes?

Yes yes yes!! A lifestyle change for pcos is most important. Not just dietary changes but also changing your routine habits, sleep patterns, eating style, activity status, emotional well being. All of this together will definitely help you.

  • Are there any symptoms which women often avoid, and if detected early could lend them timely help?

Irregular periods and weight gain are often neglected instead of visiting a expert they do try and error.

  • Continuing with it, women are often left very worried due to accompanying effects of PCOS like severe hormonal changes, hirsutism etc. Any advice for them?

YES!  It's definitely stressful but now there is high awareness regarding pcos and it's symptoms. Opting for expert advice working on lifestyle everyday definitely helps. Worrying without reason can only worsen symptoms instead being optimistic and working to decrease symptoms is most important.

  • Are there some medicines prescribed in homoeopathy too for such issues?

Oh yes!! Homeopathy has the medicine for pcos. A homeopathic consultant after taking detailed case of a pt decides on individualistic medicine which treats not every symptom but also whole person.

  • Amongst all the amazing and informative content you have put up over your Instagram page, which one is your favourite?

Haha!! Well all I my favorite as I personally see into it and try to bring out best of it. But mental health posts are my favorite.

  • Being a doctor, we are sure you would have had some really unique experiences. Would you like to share any one that comes to your mind which is very close to your heart?

Well, a lot.

One of the counselling case I want to share where the lady was asexual before marriage but stil had child but after baby she had got completely indifferent to sex where i had to counsel her and also gave homeopathic medicine for this . We just had two sessions and then she didn't come. But after a year she turned up suddenly and told me that m'am that day u changed my life. I was completely out my trauma and also living much better married life. She thought I must have forgotten her but I always remember my every pt.
