  2. Put the pieces of paneer in the marinade, making sure each piece gets covered nicely. Allow it to marinate for at least 30 minutes or overnight in the refrigerator. This step enhances the flavours.

  1. Preheat your grill pan or oven to a medium-high temperature.
  2. Brush the skewers you prepared above, with a little oil and place them on the preheated grill pan or in the oven.
  3. Grill the paneer skewers for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the paneer is golden brown and has a nice char on the edges.

Tips to make perfect Paneer Tikka:

  1. Use firm paneer to prevent it from crumbling during marinating and grilling.
  2. You can also add a tablespoon of besan (gram flour) to the marinade for an extra crunch.
  3. Change the amount of spice based on how much you like it.
  4. If you don't have a grill, you can use a grill pan or bake the skewers in the oven.

Serve Hot:

Paneer Tikka is best enjoyed hot off the grill. Serve it with mint chutney, tamarind sauce, or a side of naan bread. It makes for a delightful appetiser at parties or a flavorful addition to your dinner table.

Enjoy the burst of flavours and the melt-in-the-mouth texture of this homemade Paneer Tikka. This recipe is sure to become a favourite among your family and friends. Happy cooking!
